About the 110th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship: The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts 13 national championships annually, including the U.S. Women's Amateur, U.S. Open, U.S. Women's Open and the U.S. Senior Open.
The championship concludes on Sunday, August 15. Play begins on Monday, August 9 with 36 holes of stroke-play qualifying. After the first two days, the field of players will be cut to the lowest 64 scores. Starting Wednesday, August 11, contestants play match-play with the champion being determined by a 36 hole match-play final on Sunday.

Admission Gates: The admission gates will open one hour before play begins Friday through Sunday, August 6-15. All spectators are admitted for free.
The hours of operations are as follows: Friday, August 6: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7 & Sunday, August 8: 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, August 9-13: 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.* *Subject to change based on play. Inclement Weather Policy
Observe the scoreboards throughout the golf course for "Weather Warning" signs that will appear prior to inclement weather moving into the area. When this sign appears, spectators are advised to take precautions PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately. General Spectator Parking General spectator parking will be located at Bojangles Coliseum off of Independence Boulevard (2700 E. Independence Boulevard). Complimentary shuttles will run to and from Bojangles Coliseum to Charlotte Country Club on a regular basis. The last shuttle will depart from Charlotte Country Club to Bojangles Coliseum one hour after play each day. For directions please click here.
Tips for Spectators
The following suggestions will help you have the most enjoyable experience possible:
- Cameras are permitted during the Practice Rounds only (Friday-Sunday Prior)
- Please do not ask for autographs during the championship rounds Monday through Sunday.
- Stay behind the gallery ropes at all times and cooperate with the marshals' directions.
- Dispose of trash properly to help keep the course beautiful.
- Remain still for each shot and do not move until all players in the group have played or holed out.
- Please walk, do not run on the grounds.
